It is clear to any objective observer that in the coming decades ââ?¬â?? likely by the year 2050 ââ?¬â?? the use of hydrogen for\nenergy will be a central global phenomenon ââ?¬â?? facts on the ground demand it, facts under the ground demand it and\nconsumers demand it (the latter being the most important). When a Business Model is driven by consumer demand, the\nproducts, as well as the model, must be as responsive as those consumers expect.\nHydrogen will be increasingly needed for automobiles, and this is probably the largest application in terms of quantity\nof gas used, but it is also sorely needed for many other applications; industrial but not only large-scale industrial (the\ncoming decades will also see a large increase in individual manufacturing via printing technologies, as well as greater\nemphasis on nanotechnologies, and hydrogen is also very important to both of those).\nHowever, there are two impediments which must be addressed: scaling up and Green Hydrogen (or at least,\nsignificantly ââ?¬Å?greenerââ?¬Â) both of those terms are described below.\nThis article addresses these two central issues, as well as other less central, issues needed to support that effort.\nThe project herein described is an actual project (not theoretical) in process of being built. Caveat: Specific Product\nnames are not used to prevent ethical violations....
The construction of regional STI platform is a significant carrier for cultivating\nand developing strategic emerging industries, and the synergistic coupling\nbetween the layout of such construction and industrial developments stage\nand demands is the prerequisite and basis for realizing industry support of\nSTI platform. From both the width and intensity of the synergistic coupling,\nthis paper constructs the synergetic relationship measure model, and verifies\nits effectiveness and feasibility through the example of Guangdong Province.\nThe survey finds that in the synergetic relationship between them in Guangdong,\nthere are large regional differences, embodied in four types: platformdriven,\nindustrial spillover, synchronous development and benign interaction,\nand the width and intensity of the synergistic coupling is relatively low while a\nbenign interaction coupling mechanism has not yet been formed. This study\nprovides a scientific basis for effectively measuring the degree of the synergistic\ncoupling between regional STI platform and industries, and optimizing the\nlayout of STI platform construction....
Entrepreneurs are involved into activities contributing to the development of economy of any country. They face\nmany challenges that associated with the internal and external conditions. So the present study seeks to identify\nthe determinants contributing to the success of entrepreneurship in Sudan. A questionnaire was collected from 62\nentrepreneurs; the results show that the main determinants of entrepreneurship success in Sudan are access to finance,\nmanagement abilities, government policies, and network support in addition to entrepreneurs personality traits and\nattitudes. The results also show that there are different motives for starting a business but success stories of other\nentrepreneurs are of importance. The study recommends that these determinants of success should be considered\nwhile developing policies and strategies for promoting entrepreneurship in Sudan....
In the United States, microenterprises, critical segment of the small business population, accounts for 110 million\nsmall businesses that source new jobs. Despite the increase in the number of created businesses in the USA, more than\n70% of microenterprise business owners are unsuccessful after 2 years. The multiple case study included 6 participants\nliving in Houston, Texas, and intended to explore business strategies microenterprise event management owners\nused to succeed in business beyond 2 years. The conceptual framework that grounded the study was the 5-stage\nsmall business growth model and the 5-stage of the evolution of entrepreneurship theory. The data collection process\nconsisted of interviews resulting in transcripts, review of company documents, and interview observations notes. The\ndata analysis process while triangulating the data consisted of creating thematic codes, and clustering keywords, and\nideas from the data. Development of visual aids assisted with organizing information, synthesizing, and generating new\nideas. Text, word, and matrix coding queries were conducted and summarized for a cross-case analysis as relating to\nthe interview questions. Thematic analysis and cross-case analysis revealed 3 major themes: customer relationship\nmanagement, education/work experience, and promotional activities. Implications for social change include encouraging\nentrepreneurial and small business development programs to develop innovative curriculums that microenterprise\nbusiness owners may benefit from to increase more business opportunities. An increase in microenterprises may\nhelp provide more employment opportunities that meet the needs of local communities and improve socioeconomic\nconditions....
The theory of innovation factor thinks that regional research and development\n(R&D) investment directly affects the new product development (NPD)\nperformance of the enterprise, while the theory of innovation efficiency considers\nthat regional R&D investment affects the NPD performance of the enterprise\nby affecting the enterprise internal R&D efficiency. To test the\ntwo-theoretical hypothesis, we match up Chinese provincial-level data with\nthe enterprise data from China industrial enterprise database. The empirical\nresults show that, the theory of innovation factor and the theory of innovation\nefficiency exist simultaneously. The regional R&D investment can affect NPD\nperformance of enterprises. However, R&D investment of other enterprises in\nthe same region has a beneficial impact on the enterprise internal R&D efficiency.\nAnd the regional R&D investment in human resources has a positive\neffect on the enterprise internal R&D efficiency. According to the conclusions,\nthis paper constructs three policy advices, which are increasing regional\nR&D investment, expanding and consolidating the enterprise as the\ncore of the status of R&D and increasing regional R&D investment in human\nresources....
Existed researches on resources investment decisions in cooperated new\nproduct development always omit the enterprises knowledge level, often ignore\nthe impact of knowledge resources on the value of new products and\ncooperation. Based on the existing research on transactional behavior among\nsupply chain enterprises, most of them consider the transaction of physical\nsubstances and less consider knowledge resources, this paper takes the cooperated\nR & D among enterprises as an example to explore the optimal resource\ninvestment decisions of cooperative participants under the condition that\nboth parties invest knowledge resources. By constructing the Stackelberg\ngame model, we discussed the optimal cooperative decisions of manufacturers\nand suppliers, and the influences of different factors on cooperative decision-\nmaking....
